Verbal utilities that people use (a lot) that I’ve found to be annoying:
1) The phrase “Like I said…” That’s someone pretty much saying: “Listen you dumbass, I just told you that and you’re a big jerk for making me repeat myself.” More often than not, this is used when someone needs to shortcut to previous thoughts, and not something they actually said.
2) People who talk in numbers What’s with these people? Do they need that much structure in their thoughts?
