cell phone companies don’t get it
Apple announced the first iPod phone today, the Motorola ROKR. Cingular is jumping in first in offering the ROKR, click here to see the marketing page.
In no place on this advertisement is there mention of how many songs the phone will hold, a key component of the phone! What’s clear to me is that Cingular does not get it. I know that the big hold up with the iPod phones has been if the customer can use the iTunes store to buy music or if they are required to use the phone to purchase music. What a total waste. If the phone companies didn’t make a big deal out of this, people would buy up a ton of phones and commit to a ton of contracts.
